TaTa Sherise is a powerhouse NYC based comedian, actor, and creative force from South Jersey, celebrated for her high-energy performances and sharp, unfiltered humor. A natural entertainer from childhood, she honed her storytelling skills in 2017 by venturing into stand-up comedy in Philadelphia. Turning personal challenges into comedic art, she has become a sought-after performer in major cities.

In 2024, TaTa made history as the first Black woman to win Philly’s Phunniest Competition, adding to her recognition as a Comic to Watch at the NYC Comedy Festival and Creator to Watch. Her rising prominence led to appearances on The Drew Barrymore Show and Facebook TV’s Mastery of Comedy, where she was mentored by Aida Rodriguez.

She is a regular at esteemed venues like Helium Comedy Club, Punch Line Philly, New York Comedy Club, and The Stand NYC, and has shared the stage with comedy heavyweights Dave Chappelle, Mark Normand, Zainab Johnson, Michael Colyar, and many more. She starred in her first leading role; romance comedy "Rent A Bae" on Tubi and has had movies on Amazon Prime.

Beyond stand-up, TaTa co-created Girls Got Giggles, a comedy brand that produces a podcast, live shows, short films and sketches. Dubbed "The Hottest Comedian to Come Out of Philly" by The Philadelphia Inquirer, TaTa continues her ascent—one stage, one laugh, and one compelling story at a time.
